Although primarily known as a supplier of linen and chefswear to hotels and restaurant, we are able to offer workwear rental to all industries in Kent, from heavy engineering to food manufacturing. We currently employ around 100 production and transport staff and clean in excess of 1 million items of workwear and linen every month.
Operating from our 28,000 ft² state of the art factory in Faversham, we are proud to remain an independent family owned company offering the very best in commercial linen and workwear services to local businesses; as well as to some of the biggest names in the leisure, hospitality, manufacturing and retail sectors.
Since the opening of our High Care Workwear processing unit in 2018, we have supplied over 1 million laundered garments to our local Food Industry customers operating to BRC standards.
In June 2019 we completed a £0.5 million investment programme designed to further increase our workwear processing capacity and now offer an effective local alternative to Food manufacturers of all sizes operating in Kent and the surrounding areas.

Founded in 1897 as Faversham Sanitary Steam Laundry Company Limited. Faversham Linen Services has provided a premium laundry service for well over 100 years to our customers in the Kent, East Sussex, East Surrey and South London areas.
As a business, we have always had plans of continuity in place in case of a major breakdown or disaster. These plans were put to the test by the devastating fire that broke out on 12th of June 2013; causing the total loss of Faversham Laundry.
With the help of our staff, suppliers and sub-contracting laundries as well as fantastic cooperation from our customer’s normal services were resumed within 24 hours of the fire. We were operating on a temporary premise until 2014, when the new factory started operating.
Since then, we have been growing and expanding our operations to reach even more customers within the South East.
Although we strive to match our larger competitors, we continue to operate as we always have done – as a family business with close involvement from the owners in the day-to-day operations. Our values are built on a foundation of trust, dedication, and quality, and we aim to provide exceptional service while maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers.
